The construction of the VologdaArena ice complex is entering the finish line

The construction of the ice palace on Poet Romanov Street in Vologda is coming to an end. Work teams are engaged in landscaping the area around the complex. Porcelain tiles are laid on the central entrance group, and decorative lamellas are mounted on the facade of the building. Inside the premises, interior decoration and installation of doors continues.
“A water treatment system for pouring the ice arena has been installed. A mast lift with a 12-meter boom was brought to service the engineering systems of the ice arena. Seats are being installed in the stands,” said Sergey Fokichev, head of the regional department of physical culture and sports.
Recall that the ice complex is being built within the framework of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”. The project was approved by the city council and brought to life under the personal control of the head of the region Oleg Kuvshinnikov. It will host training in hockey and figure skating, competitions at the regional and all-Russian levels. In the time free from professional athletes, the ice arena will open for mass skating of the townspeople.
In the immediate vicinity of the ice palace, the construction of the Golden Puck recreational complex is underway. This sports facility will be completed in 2023 and will also open its doors to all sports fans.
It should be noted that Vologda Arena will become the ninth indoor ice complex built in the region. A similar facility is currently being built in Sokol.
