The investor completed the construction of furniture production in the Eastern Administrative District by 85%. The construction of the factory in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district is being carried out as part of a large-scale investment project (MaIP).

“A furniture factory with an area of ​​over nine thousand square meters is being built in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district as part of a large-scale investment project. For this purpose, the city leased a land plot of more than two hectares to the investor,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

He clarified that at the moment the project is 85% ready. As soon as the enterprise is put into operation, 350 people will be able to find employment in production. In addition, the implementation of the project will increase the volume of furniture production by almost 1.5 times and annually produce up to 480 thousand units of products.

The developer has been manufacturing home, children’s, office, hotel and school furniture for over 20 years. So far, the factory’s production capacity allows it to produce about 330 thousand furniture products per year.

In 2022, the city provided the investor with another land plot with an area of ​​0.36 hectares to expand furniture production in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district. The contract with the company was concluded for 5 years. During this time, it must complete the construction of a complex with an area of ​​over 7.6 thousand square meters. It should be noted that in total there are 90 companies in Moscow that specialize in the manufacture of furniture.
