According to the decision of the Chelyabinsk Regional Court, the activities of the inter-regional left-wing radical anarchist movement “People’s Self-Defense” were recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia.
“The court ruled to satisfy the administrative claim, recognize it as terrorist and ban the activities of the interregional left-wing radical anarchist movement “People’s Self-Defense” in Russia,” the judge said during the announcement of the verdict.
According to the prosecutor, the participants in this movement carry out terrorist and extremist actions. In total, the “People’s Self-Defense” consists of more than 400 people. About 200 extremist actions were carried out with their participation.
In addition, the court was provided with evidence of the justification of terrorist attacks, terrorism by members of the organization, and also called for the commission of acts of a terrorist nature.
