The case of a pensioner from Shchelkovo, beaten by migrants, will be reported to Bastrykin

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin requested a report on the situation with a pensioner from Shchelkovo, who was beaten by migrants from Central Asia. RIA Novosti reports this with reference to the press service of the RF IC.
Earlier it was reported that 2 migrants forced a 76-year-old resident of the Moscow region to stop. Having got into his car, the migrants first forced the man to take him from somewhere else, and after he refused, they beat him and damaged the car. Subsequently, the man had to take them, but in the end the migrants were detained, and a criminal case was opened against them for unlawful deprivation of liberty (Part 2 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
“The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the State Investigative Directorate for the Moscow Region, A.Yu. Starikov. submit a report on the progress of the criminal investigation,” the statement says.
It is also reported that the course of action in the criminal case will be controlled by the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
