The Russian Aerospace Forces launched the Soyuz 2.1b launch vehicle from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. It must launch into orbit a satellite that belongs to the Ministry of Defense. TASS reports this with reference to the press service of the military department.
The launch took place at 23:58 on November 25. The rocket launched from a cosmodrome located in the Arkhangelsk region. So far there has been no information about whether the satellite has been launched into orbit.
The Soyuz 2.1b launch vehicle is disposable. Has three stages. Its height is 46.3 meters. Load capacity – up to 8.7 tons. To launch vehicles into low-Earth orbit, the rocket can be used either independently or with the Fregat upper stage.
