The safest city in Russia named

Nizhny Novgorod became the safest city in Russia in 2023, as follows from the updated City Safety Index.
The capital of the Volga region took 63rd place in terms of safety among 352 major cities in the world – the safety index there is 71.1.
Moscow took 109th place with an indicator of 63.7, and St. Petersburg – 131st with an indicator of 60.7.
The leaders in the ranking were the cities of the UAE: Ras al-Khaimah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi. The top ten also included Doha, Taipei, Dubai, Muscat, Bern, The Hague and Munich.
