The commander of the crew of the plane that made an emergency landing on a wheat field in the Novosibirsk region decided to resign from the airline after the completion of the work of the commission investigating the accident.
As MK learned, Sergei Belov and co-pilot Eduard Semenov do not intend to remain in the company, regardless of what decision the commission comes to, because they believe that they were simply betrayed at the most difficult moment. Let us recall that the airline’s management asked the pilots to resign even before the completion of the commission’s work.
The co-pilot’s wife wrote to Vladimir Putin, but there is no response yet. In addition, as MK learned, the passengers of this flight also wrote a petition in defense of the pilots and sent it to the State Duma. Members of the Sheremetyevo trade union of flight personnel expressed their bewilderment at the airline’s policy.
“On December 14, Vladimir Putin will speak at a press conference, maybe they will say something there,” one of the ShPLS members told us.
An Airbus A-320, flying from Sochi to Omsk, made an emergency landing in a field on September 12. None of the passengers on board were injured.
