Last year, the Moscow food manufacturer doubled its production volumes compared to 2022, producing more than 264 thousand packages of products.

“More than 250 companies in Moscow produce food products – bakery, fish, meat, dairy, vegetables, fruit and confectionery. They are actively developing, expanding their range and increasing production volumes. The city provides them with significant support in this, providing over 20 systemic measures,” said Daria Stepanova, deputy head of the capital’s Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. She cited the example of a manufacturer of nut snacks, which more than doubled its production volumes in 2023, producing over 264 thousand packages. The capital’s enterprise “Amidis Group” produces products created using dry roasting technology without the use of oil; they retain all the beneficial substances. The company’s assortment includes 186 types of snacks: with paprika and tomato, sea salt, garlic and basil, cayenne pepper, ginger, lemon, cinnamon and others.

The company is modernizing production to launch a new product brand. The plans for this year are to increase production volumes to 600 thousand units, expand the range and staff. According to the general director of the company, Mikhail Smorshch, the company receives requests from retail chains that want to introduce brand products under their own brand.
