The Russian federal government supported amendments to legislation providing for the payment of double pensions to disabled children whose parents died during a special operation.
As State Duma deputy Alexey Govyrin noted, it is very important to support the families of heroes and ensure their right to a decent life, which is laid down in Article 7 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, the Social Fund of the Russian Federation said that from April 1, pension payments were indexed for certain categories of citizens – in particular, minors and full-time students under the age of 23 who have lost one or both parents.
Russia is already implementing a set of measures to support families with children, this is especially important in 2024, which has been declared the Year of the Family in our country.
