The driver of a passenger bus who left a 9-year-old girl on the road in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk was fired, Mayor Sergei Nadsadin said. In his message on the Telegram channel, the mayor reminded all employees of the passenger transportation system about the inadmissibility of such cases and promised to strictly punish such behavior.
Local media reported that the girl was driving home in the suburbs of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and did not notice that the driver had changed route. He left the little passenger on the snowy road, where her grandmother later picked her up. On Monday, the SUSK in the Sakhalin region opened a criminal case against the driver for providing services that did not meet safety requirements.
