Further redistribution of funds from the budget reserve will be agreed upon with the Ministry of Finance. Sergei Grachev suggested that, if necessary, costs for a number of projects in the Orenburg region will be reduced.
40% of houses flooded by floods in the region cannot be restored. Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services Irek Fayzullin promised that those who lost their homes due to floods will receive certificates for the purchase of new housing. Today, Orenburg authorities expect a peak in water levels in the Urals. Overnight the water level rose to 1120 cm (dangerous level – 930 cm).
