The book “The History of Boxing of Yakutia” was presented at the All-Russian Boxing Forum

At the IV All-Russian Boxing Forum in Serpukhov, the book “The History of Boxing of Yakutia”, written by the famous sports journalist and editor of the Sakha NVC Rodion Krivogornitsyn, was presented, reports the Yakutia 24 TV channel.

The presentation of the two-volume edition was attended by famous boxers such as Valery Lvov, Yuri Arbachakov, Ilfat Razyapov, Andrey Gogolev, Denis Lebedev, Alexander Maletin, as well as Deputy Chairman of the Council of Champions Akhmedkhan Adilov, heads of regional federations and coaches from different regions. They all appreciated the author’s thorough work and noted the uniqueness of the book, which covers in detail the history of the development of boxing in this region and is based on official documents.

Alexander Kolesnikov, a famous sports journalist and founder of the popular website AKBOXING.RU, also expressed his opinion about the book “The History of Boxing of Yakutia.” He expressed pleasure that the Russian Boxing Federation and sports writers in the country pay great attention to the history of boxing. The book covers the period from 1956, when the Yakutia national team first competed at the Olympic Games, to the present day. Preserving the history of boxing is of great importance, and this book will certainly go down in the history of boxing in our country.
