The best tennis players of Siberia were determined in Abakan

On January 27, the Siberian Federal District table tennis championship was completed in Abakan. During the competition, men and women from various regions, such as Altai and Krasnoyarsk territories, Irkutsk and Novosibirsk regions, as well as Kemerovo region, Tomsk region, Tuva and Khakassia, competed for medals.
Representatives of Khakassia – Maxim Kiselev and Marat Sultanov – competed in the final of the men’s tournament. As a result, Maxim Kiselev turned out to be stronger and won. Third place in the tournament was taken by Anton Kotov from Khakassia and Alexander Mitrofanov from the Novosibirsk region.
In the women’s category, all hopes for victory were associated with participants Oksana Yunosheva and Maria Gorbunova, but, unfortunately, they could not qualify for the finals. In the fight for third place, Oksana, in a bitter struggle, defeated Polina Kosheleva from Khakassia with a score of 3:2, and Maria defeated Lyudmila Shvaiko from the Altai Territory.
The final match between tennis players from the Kemerovo region Alina Shamaeva and Daria Shevtsova decided the issue of first place. Alina Shamaeva won a landslide victory with a score of 4:0 in this confrontation.
In doubles, the best were Maxim Kiselev and Marat Sultanov, who won with a score of 3:1 against the team of Anton Kotov and Denis Tebenkov from Khakassia. Third place was taken by the teams of Zakhar Karlash (Kemerovo region) and Dmitry Osipov (Altai region), as well as Vadim Pilipets (Tomsk region) and Dondok Ayurov (Novosibirsk region).
