Basketball players from Kabardino-Balkaria became the winners of the finals of the North Caucasus district “Locobasket – School League,” the press service of the republican government reports.
The final of the school basketball league was held in Essentuki. Over the course of three days, 8 teams of girls and 7 teams of boys competed for the title of the best.
The national team of Kabardino-Balkaria was represented by pupils of sports school No. 2 in the city of Nalchik. According to the results of the competition, the girls’ team won first place, becoming the winner of all meetings.
Ermina Kushbokova received the nomination “Best Striker” of the competition. The winner of the throwing competition was Sofia Berezhnaya. MVP – Amelia Kulova.
The next start for the team will be the final of the Russian Championship “Locobasket – School League”, which will take place in Krasnodar.
