The head of Buryatia, Alexei Tsydenov, made changes to documentgoverning the rules for walking pets, in particular dogs. Now in the region they are prohibited from walking without a short leash and a muzzle, as well as visiting public places with a pet.
“It is forbidden to visit with pets the premises occupied by shops, catering organizations, medical and educational institutions, cultural organizations, as well as other enterprises. An exception is cases of accompanying a visually impaired person with guide dogs, visits to veterinary clinics, as well as pet care salons, ”the text of the resolution says.
The document also states that dogs kept in the yards of houses must be on a leash or in an aviary, and at the entrance to the territory of the house “a warning sign about the presence of a pet must be placed.” Violators of these rules will be subject to administrative prosecution.
