Moscow pediatrician and author of the blog “Notes of a Pediatric Doctor” Sergei Butriy reportedthat he left Russia with his wife and son. February 22 Khamovnichesky District Court of Moscow arrested Mr. Butria for ten days under the article on inciting hatred and enmity (Article 20.3.1 of the Administrative Code). The reason for the case was a doctor’s interview with journalist Katerina Gordeeva (declared a foreign agent).

“During the detention process, they clearly hinted that this would not be the end of it. Therefore, immediately after liberation, my wife and son and I flew out of the country with a minimum of things,” wrote Sergei Butriy in the Telegram channel.

He also said that he plans to conduct remote consultations, as well as see patients in the city where he will stay with his family. In addition, the doctor plans to engage in educational projects for colleagues and parents. It is unknown in which country Sergei Butriy plans to stay.

Sergei Butriy was arrested on February 22. The card on the website of the Khamovnichesky District Court stated that the reason for the case was an interview with Katerina Gordeeva (declared a foreign agent). According to investigators, in the interview, Sergei Butriy committed “actions aimed at inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliating the dignity of a person and a group of people identified on the social basis of “doctors who share the values ​​of Russian society.”
