The trial was closed due to the convict’s diagnoses

The trial in the case of the parole of crime boss Zakhary Kalashov (known as Shakro Molodoy) was on-site. At the same time, the process itself was further closed.

As MK learned, the meeting took place on March 13. Zakhary Kalashov did not ask for the process to be closed, but by law they were forced to do so, since the diagnoses were announced.

Even during his stay in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center, it was clear that he had health problems, including due to his age (he is 70 years old). At the same time, Kalashov was not a troublemaker; there were no complaints against him either in Lefortovo or in the Krasnodar colony.

“In general, he is a calm, reasonable person, I would even say noble,” noted one of the employees. – He knows the rules and does not behave inappropriately.

Kalashov did not work in the colony due to age and illness.

If the prosecutor’s office does not challenge the court’s decision on parole, he will be released on March 23.
