Director of the Association of Independent Pharmacies Victoria Presnyakova responded to information that the range of imported drugs in Russian pharmacies has decreased by 20% over the year. Her words are quoted by the radio “TVNZ”.
“I can’t confirm that a fifth of them are gone,” Presnyakova said.
As the expert admitted, the top 1000 most popular imported drugs are still available for purchase. She also clarified that Russians have finally begun to use domestic drugs, which are in many ways not inferior to foreign drugs.
In addition, Presnyakova noted that the withdrawal of some foreign drugs is not due to sanctions restrictions, but to problems with delivery.
