Thailand plans to increase the period of visa-free stay of Russian tourists in the country from 30 to 90 days, Prime Minister Setta Tavisin said.
The new government of the country is considering the possibility of a three-fold extension of the validity of tourist visas. The Prime Minister of Thailand shared plans in Phang Nga during a meeting with representatives of local associations of tour operators and entrepreneurs.
The goal is to simplify immigration procedures, making them more convenient for foreign tourists and replenish the treasury through this.
