Former US Marine Robert O’Neill, who killed ISIS leader Osama bin Laden, has been arrested in Texas for drunken brawling, writes the New York Post.

He was arraigned on Wednesday and charged with assault causing bodily harm and being drunk in a public place. Police refused to provide further information about the arrest, and O’Neal was released the same day on $3,500 bail.

O’Neill gained notoriety after claiming he was the one who fired on Osama bin Laden during a covert US Marines raid in 2011. At the same time, the US authorities did not confirm or deny his words.

At the same time, the former Marine already had problems with the law. In 2016, he was arrested for drunk driving in Montana.
