Tech companies are actively recruiting former Twitter employees

According to the media, in particular, The GuardianUS technology companies are actively hiring former Twitter employees, attracting them with a more stable environment, good earnings, and most importantly, the absence of Elon Musk.

Corporate executives focus on inclusion for every potential employee and in their advertising campaigns act “on the contrary”, criticizing Elon Musk’s radical management style. This situation has developed due to the dismissal of 3,700 people from Twitter, which is almost half of the total staff. Among them were top managers. Several hundred more employees left the company due to a sharp change in the platform’s development course and fears of being among the future layoffs.

The Twitter situation has prompted a number of announcements from other tech firms. CoderPad CEO Amanda Richardson, in an open letter to Twitter employees, speaks of Elon Musk’s ban on remote work as a demotivating event. “At CoderPad, we believe your skills speak for you. And not the place where you sit,” says Amanda Richardson. The main platform for such comments became LinkedIn platform.

Michael Vining, CEO of Calix, sees the Twitter situation as worrisome but sees it as a positive, as employees will now be able to find a new place for themselves, such as at his company.

The criticism of Elon Musk was supported by the software developer HubSpot. His HR director, Cathy Burke, denounced the news of the mass layoffs of employees who sharply criticize his management style in private chats.

While massive layoffs raised concerns about potential problems not only on Twitter, but also on other social networks, a report from analyst firm Gartner pointed to high employee turnover in this sector. Elon Musk has created an ultra-competitive talent market, which, however, is still in high demand.
