The Fund for the Protection of the National Historical Heritage asked the TFR to check the work of the singer Klava Koka. The dissatisfaction of the foundation was caused by her performance “near the Russian flag, against the backdrop of the temple and in a miniskirt.” The fund believes that she offended the feelings of believers, and asks to initiate a criminal case against the artist. Law enforcement officials said TASSthat initiated the check.
We are talking about the performance of Klava Koka in Vladivostok on September 4th. Then they already complained about the singer because of “corruption of minors in vulgar clothes” and asked the Primorsky Territory Prosecutor’s Office to check the artist’s actions under Art. 148 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and Art. 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (petty hooliganism). The singer has denied all allegations. She is explainedthat she did not know about the nearby Orthodox church, and performed in a raincoat, and not “half-naked”. The girl promised to submit a counter-application to the prosecutor’s office.
“The Fund for the Protection of National Historical Heritage filed an application addressed to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin with a request to check the work of Klavdia Vadimovna Vysokova for violation of her right to freedom of conscience and religion (Article 148 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and also to initiate a criminal case against her”, – told TASS a representative of law enforcement agencies.
The fund confirmed to the agency that they had filed an application with the TFR. According to Alexander Karabanov, director of the fund, it is necessary to “suppress the criminal actions” of Russian performers, “whose work not only does not bring absolutely any benefit, but also has a detrimental effect on the younger generation, and also offends the feelings of believers.”
