The Tambov woman took fifth place at the World Championship in universal combat. Dynamo athlete Ekaterina Molodova performed as part of the Russian national team.
Elena is a representative of the team of physical culture of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Tambov region, captain of the internal service, master of sports of Russia.
The 2022 Universal Fight World Championship was held in Volgograd at the Volgograd Academy of Physical Culture and Sports among men and women in the Light and Classic disciplines. The geography of the event was extensive. 400 athletes arrived from 31 countries: Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Angola, Armenia, Afghanistan, Belarus, Burundi, Burkina Faso, Vietnam, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau and others. In the “Light” discipline, the participants overcame an obstacle course with throwing knives and shooting from a pistol, and then immediately entered the ring for fights according to the rules of wrestling – without punches.
According to the results of all competitions in the Light category among women, Ekaterina became the fifth. A Tambov woman is training under the guidance of Roman Chumakov.
