Kuban athletes won 25 gold medals at the All-Russian ITF taekwondo competitions

The championship and championship of Russia in ITF taekwondo ended in Moscow. According to the press service of the regional administration, more than 1.3 thousand athletes from 43 regions of the country competed for medals.
Kuban was represented by 38 people who eventually won 49 awards, 25 of which were gold. The men’s team of the region especially excelled in the “tul” discipline. Taekwondo players occupied the entire pedestal. Among women in this discipline, Victoria Chebotareva became the best.
Among other things, the Kuban residents fulfilled the standards for adult ranks, the titles of CMS and MS. Some of them became part of the Russian national team for 2023.
Vice-Governor Alexander Vlasov and Minister of Sports of the Krasnodar Territory Serafim Timchenko congratulated fellow countrymen on the successful performance. They noted that taekwondo in the Kuban is being developed in 30 municipalities, and more than 15,000 residents of the region are practicing it.
Earlier in the morning, “MK in the Kuban” wrote about the success of the Kuban basketball players. Recall, Loko-Kuban won for the third time in a row, having beaten the Krasnoyarsk Enisey away. The meeting ended with a score of 71:69 in favor of the red-greens.
