Street in western Moscow named after Zhirinovsky

A street in western Moscow was named after the founder of the Liberal Democratic Party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky. The corresponding resolution was signed by the capital’s mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the document published on the portal of the city government.
According to the decree, the street is located along the border of the natural reserve “Valley of the Setun River” in the Ochakovo-Matveevskoye district in the Western Administrative District of Moscow.
Vladimir Zhirinovsky died April 6 at the age of 75. His condition deteriorated sharply against the background of the coronavirus and diabetes. May 27 the new leader of the Liberal Democratic Party was elected Leonid Slutsky. The authorities of Chita also are planning name a street or a park in memory of Mr. Zhirinovsky.
