In the European part of Russia, a noticeable warming is expected in late September-early October, but it cannot be called a full-fledged Indian summer due to cloudy weather. This was stated by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation Roman Vilfand.
“Noticeable warming – on the 30th, on the last day of September, the first day of October and on the second day of October. Here the temperature will be above the 15-degree mark,” he told reporters.
Vilfand added that since the weather is cloudy, this warming should not be associated with the Indian summer.
The “mandatory condition” of the Indian summer, according to the weatherman, is not only warming, but also the sun, “clear” air. Warm weather in late September-early October will be most felt by residents of the Krasnodar Territory, Volgograd and Astrakhan Regions, as well as Stavropol, where the temperature will rise to 29 degrees.
