The Knowledge Society will create instructions for staging a patriotic performance

The Russian society “Knowledge” has begun developing an online instruction that will explain to schoolchildren and students how to stage the play “Difficult Exam” based on the play by the winner of the “Knowledge. Theatre” competition. It is planned to complete the work on the “manual” by November.

According to the Director General of the Russian Society “Knowledge” Maxim Dreval, the online instruction will be a video guide for staging a performance, thanks to which any theater will be able to stage this performance on its stage.

The instruction will be developed using the example of a performance created by a professional troupe of famous actors under the direction of the Golden Mask Prize winner, teacher of the Moscow Art Theater School and director of the Praktika Theater Yuri Kvyatkovsky. It will include a detailed description of all stages of staging the performance, the tasks of the director, costume designer, make-up artist.

– I am sure that personal experience of working on the play will arouse a keen interest in theatrical art in the school and student environment. And of course it will possibility live together with the main character of the production of life situations and draw certain conclusions, – said Maxim Dreval.

The All-Russian competition “Knowledge. Theatre” for the best educational play for young people was held in the spring of 2022. 420 papers from 68 regions of Russia were submitted. The play “Difficult Exam” by 29-year-old Gulnara Iskalieva from Astrakhan became the winner of the competition.
