Stavropol volleyball players became winners of the Interregional Russian Championship

The finals of the Interregional Russian Volleyball Championship among girls in the Southern Federal District and North Caucasian Federal District ended in Kislovodsk.
Teams from the DPR, Rostov region, Kalmykia, Krasnodar region, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Dagestan, North Ossetia-Alania, Adygea and Stavropol region took part. As a result of the competition, the team of the Stavropol Territory became the winner of the North Caucasian Federal District zone, second place was won by volleyball players from the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, and athletes from the Karachay-Cherkess Republic took bronze. In the Southern Federal District, volleyball players from the Krasnodar Territory became champions, the Rostov Region won silver and the Donetsk People’s Republic won bronze.
“Kislovodsk once again united Russia in the sports arena of our sports school named after Romanenko. Over the course of a week, more than 120 of the best volleyball players from the Southern Federal District and the North Caucasus Federal District competed for the championship title and a ticket to the finals of the Russian Volleyball Championship. The team from the Stavropol Territory became the absolute champion of the North Caucasian Federal District zone. The honor of the regional team was defended by three Kislovodsk players: Sofya Kuznetsova, Saida Bayramukova and Altana Boldyreva. We congratulate the best volleyball players, their parents and coaches on their well-deserved victories,” said the head of Kislovodsk, Evgeny Moiseev.
