A football player from Voronezh “Fakel” commented on the team’s victory over “Spartak”

Fakel midfielder Irakli Kvekveskiri said that the victory was natural, because the Voronezh team defeated the favorite of Russian fans for the second time this season. When the “flammable” team won the match against Spartak on their home field, many argued that the arena of the Central Trade Union Stadium helped them.

– Nobody believes in us. They think they are the best. And we are simple peasants who beat them. During our last victory, everyone said that we won because of the field. And we proved once again that this is not an accident, this is a pattern,” the footballer said after the match.

The Fakel captain also said that yellow cards irritate him: “In a game like this, the level of fighting can be raised a little. There is no rough and tumble play. Immediately for the first foul, give a “yellow” in order to limit the person from further acting actively, I believe that this is irrational and wrong, but this is their business,” Irakli Kvekveskiri told a correspondent of the Match TV channel.
