Dagestan wrestlers won four medals at the Russian Championship

At the Russian Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling among boys under 18 years old, held in Vladivostok, Dagestan wrestlers won four medals. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic.
At these competitions, more than 400 participants from different parts of the country competed for medals in 12 weight categories. Among them were our Dagestan “classics”.
Three wrestlers from Dagestan took second place in their weight categories. These are Ilyas Baymurzaev (45 kg), Rajab Baitullaev (71 kg) and Kurban Abdulkhalikov (110 kg). In addition, Rizvan Kairbekov (42 kg) became a bronze medalist at the national championship.
These results confirm the high level of training of Dagestan athletes and their readiness for serious competitions. We are proud of their achievements and wish them new victories in the future.
