The Ministry of Digital Development reported in its telegram channelthat a new service has become available on the State Services portal – registration at the place of residence for a child. About six thousand families have already used the new service, as noted by the department. The application is submitted online with a minimum of documents, and the registration certificate comes to the user’s personal account.

“It will be possible to register a child only at the place of residence of one of the parents. He sends the application,” the ministry said in a statement.

Passports of both parents, a birth certificate or details of an act record must be attached to the application made on the portal.

The term for consideration of an application by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, according to the rules, is six working days. Then the finished document in electronic form enters the personal account. If necessary, it can be printed and used when enrolling a child in a kindergarten, school or clinic, as well as for applying for benefits and allowances.

But, at the same time, with the advent of a new option on “State Services”, the possibility of obtaining a “paper” document from the Ministry of Internal Affairs has not been canceled.
