State Duma deputies demanded to ban toy enemy tanks: "You need to burn"

Tanks for children are not toys. Especially if the tanks are enemy. State Duma deputy Nina Ostanina demands a ban on the sale of toy “Leopards”, “Abrams” and other toys that reproduce the military equipment of NATO countries. The parliamentarian is preparing a corresponding request to Rospotrebnadzor. And deputy Tatyana Butskaya not only supported her colleague, but also answered the question hanging in the air: what to do with prohibited toys? “Enemy equipment needs to be burned,” the principled choice of the people is sure.

The motives seem to be clear. But for the sake of completeness, we will still give the justifications of the deputies themselves. “For me, this is nothing more than elements of propaganda of the technology and ideology of those countries,” Ostanina explained her position in an interview with the Daily Storm. “I am against such toys being sold to our children.”

True, Nina Alexandrovna is not entirely consistent in her demands. Some “NATO equipment”, according to her, can still be left in stores. But these toys should look so that “children have a desire to deal with them with the help of our Russian tanks.” How, with what, with the help of what visual means it is possible to instill such a desire in a child – a question that remains unanswered so far.

Butskaya’s position is more solid, not providing for any liberal concessions. “This is an image of what brings death, and not positive emotions, albeit in miniature, on a scale of 1:43, but this is education – the education of patriotism or its absence,” the deputy shared her disturbing thoughts with RTVI. “Now this is no longer games. We can’t afford to take it lightly.”

Some politically immature, irresponsible citizens will certainly react to the war declared by the deputies to “unpatriotic” toys with bad words. But we will only say that the deputies, of course, know better.

Moreover, these are not just any deputies. Ostanina – Chairman of the Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children. Butskaya is her first deputy. That is, both on children, one might say, they ate the dog. Like no one else in the Duma, they know the peculiarities of child psychology, they know what to expect from the boys playing with enemy tanks. Today he loves “Abrams”, and tomorrow … Well, you understand.

But the presented plan for dealing with toys still cannot be called thoroughly thought out. Lots of white spots.

It is not clear, firstly, what to do with the already sold tanks. After all, a lot has already been sold. Well, to reconcile with the fact that this tank armada will continue to fool the immature children’s minds and souls, sow unkind, unpatriotic things in them? In addition, it must be borne in mind that there is also a secondary market: toys can be resold or donated. No, if you take a principled approach to the issue, then, of course, you need to burn them too. Yes, there will be many bitter children’s tears. But here we have to choose what is more important for us.

Second: it is not clear how boys can play war if they only have our, Soviet and Russian tanks left. Well, ours will fight in these battles against their own, red-star and tricolor? Not good. And not just bad, but in fact even more ideologically dangerous than the presence of “enemy equipment” in children. Well, it turns out, a civil war! Children will get used to such games, then there will be no trouble. In general, to be sure, it is better to ban all tanks altogether. Let them play something else, ideologically safer.

Thirdly, the example of adults is very important for children. And the example set by the deputies, to put it mildly, does not encourage humility and sacrifice. They themselves do not even think of abandoning “enemy equipment”. There are no domestic brands at all in the State Duma’s service fleet, and there are practically none in personal deputy garages. Moreover, our parliamentarians prefer German cars.

Even such a staunch fighter against pernicious foreign influence as Gennady Andreyevich Zyuganov owns, according to his last declaration of income and property, a Volkswagen Touareg crossover. But the ancestor of this brand is, by the way, none other than Adolf Hitler. It was the Fuhrer’s idea – to create a “people’s car” for the German people (that’s how it translates from the German Volkswagen).

In general, judging by the uncompromising Hamburg account, then from Zyuganov’s “Volkswagen” and other deputy “Maybachs”, “Mercedes”, “Audi”, BMW and “Porsche” there is no less ideological harm than from the toy “Leopard” of the boy Petit . And perhaps even more. After all, the boy Petya plays tanks at home, and the deputy cars are a clear demonstration of a way of life and thoughts alien to us. One might even say propaganda.

And logically, and in fairness, before taking away the “wrong” toys from children, you should first get rid of your adult “wrong” toys. However, perhaps we are just a little ahead of events and the deputies are preparing a surprise for us, an attraction of unprecedented sacrifice: they will gather together all their personal and official cars and arrange a grandiose auto-da-fé. And what? Maslenitsa on the nose is not a bad idea, you see, for a Maslenitsa bonfire.
