The Crimean authorities will direct all the money received from the sale of the nationalized assets of Ukrainian politicians and businessmen to the needs of the participants in the military operation, informed Governor of the region Sergei Aksenov.
The head of the region also stressed that all objects without exception will be sold at auction without any options for maintaining ownership for the previous owners.
Formerly State Council of Crimea accepted a decree on the nationalization of about 500 property objects of Ukrainian businessmen and politicians, in particular Rinat Akhmetov, Igor Kolomoisky, Serhiy Taruta, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, and others.
In addition, there will nationalized assets of 12 Ukrainian banks (Forum, Finance and Credit, UkrSibbank, Imexbank, Piraeus Bank MKB, Express Bank, Ukrsotsbank, State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine, CB Nadra, MTB Bank, Ukrainian Joint Stock Commercial Industrial investment bank and Prominvestbank).
