St. Petersburg will tell its story at the Russia exhibition

In Moscow, at VDNKh, on National Unity Day, November 4, the exhibition-forum “Russia” opened, in which St. Petersburg became a participant.
In addition to the Northern capital, 88 more regions of the country are participating in the exhibition. Thematic pavilions will showcase the achievements of line ministries and departments, major corporations and public organizations.
The main art object of the St. Petersburg stand is a detailed copy of the Palace Bridge, which was raised on the opening day of the exhibition. Guests witnessed a unique light and sound show, and a multimedia ball allowed them to literally be transported to St. Petersburg and look at the iconic objects of the city.
The demonstration of the interactive city will begin with a historical week, organized by specialists from the cultural committee. Its main themes will be the 350th anniversary of Peter the Great and the 320th anniversary of the founding of St. Petersburg.
The character of the city, its innovations and scientific potential will be revealed by the concept of the “Petersburg Cinema”. The motto of the exhibition: “St. Petersburg is a city where good mood is born.”
The favorite of the exhibition will be the grandiose show “Scarlet Sails” – the only event in Russia that is included in the register of world event tourism.
The St. Petersburg stand consists of 90% multimedia and interactive solutions that will help you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the city – walk along the autumn streets, along the Neva frozen in winter and in the blooming Catherine Garden.
