Sofia Nadyrshina from Sakhalin won two medals at the Russian Cup in snowboarding

Sakhalin athlete Sofia Nadyrshina performed at the second stage of the Russian Cup in snowboarding in the disciplines “parallel slalom” and “parallel giant slalom”. The competitions were held at the Solnechnaya Dolina ski resort in the Chelyabinsk region. The press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Sakhalin Region spoke about the results.
95 athletes from 13 regions of the country took part in the competition. In the giant slalom, Sofia Nadyrshina became third, losing to Polina Smolentsova from the Moscow region and Natalia Soboleva from the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
But in the parallel giant, a student of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding School Sofia Nadyrshina won gold. In the final, she overtook Natalia Soboleva from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra.
