Yamal wrestlers won 10 medals at the Ural Championship

Ten medals were won by Yamal athletes at the Ural Championship in sports (Greco-Roman) wrestling among men. This was reported in the department of physical culture and sports of the YNAO.
“Three wrestlers from the Purovsky district became the winners: Zaur Kurbanislamov, Azamat Akhmedov and Viktor Starikov in the weight categories of 60, 72 and 82 kg, respectively. Astemir Mirzoev (67 kg), Severi Badriev (63 kg) and Igor Volobuev (82 kg) became silver medalists. The bronze was won by Purov’s athletes Ilver Khamidullin (55 kg), Alexander Agichev (72 kg) and wrestlers from Noyabrsk Leonid Shekhovtsev (63 kg), Konstantin Sadovnichiy (130 kg),” the relevant department said.
Competitions were held from 1 to 2 December in Chelyabinsk.
