Sobyanin: Moscow hospitals received 16 victims of an emergency at a gas station in Makhachkala

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that on the night of August 16, 16 victims arrived from Makhachkala to Moscow as a result of an accident at a gas station in Dagestan.
Sobyanin said that nine victims were placed in city clinics. They are located at the Sklifosovsky Institute, the Botkin Hospital, the Inozemtsev City Clinical Hospital, the Research Institute of Pediatric Emergency Surgery and Traumatology, and the Speransky Hospital.
There are three children among those who arrived in Moscow. Six people, including two children, are in a very serious condition, the mayor wrote in his Telegram channel.
“Doctors are doing everything possible to save the victims, providing all the necessary medical and psychological assistance to the victims,” Sobyanin said.
On August 14, an explosion occurred near a gas station in Makhachkala. According to the latest data, 35 people died, 84 were injured.
After the explosion in Dagestan, a day of mourning was declared. The RF IC opened a criminal case.
