Margarita Simonyan came to the defense of the security officer who cut off his ear while detaining a terrorist

RT TV channel editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan expressed her point of view regarding the actions of Russian security forces when detaining suspects in the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack near Moscow, writes the RTVI Telegram channel.

In an interview, Margarita Simonyan expressed hope that nothing will happen to the guy who cut off the terrorist’s ear.

“Now attack me with all your libertine quarrel and say whatever you want. I don’t care at all,” Margarita Simonyan told the TV channel.

The editor-in-chief has no doubt that he defends the opinion of “many Russian military officers and people significant in the weight of public opinion.”

To support her thoughts, she cited the example of Anders Breivik, who carried out a terrorist attack in 2011 and killed 77 people. In Norway, Breivik was sentenced to 21 years in prison and is kept in a cell with a gym, TV and games.

“This is not Norway for you,” summed up Simonyan.

Previously Russia Today TV channel published a video with footage of the interrogation of a terrorist left without an ear. He was caught in the Bryansk region along with his accomplices.
