At the end of 2022, the mos.ru portal launched a super service for newcomers called Moving in Moscow. For a month, 2.5 thousand people used it.
In superservice “Moving in Moscow” more than 170 action scenarios for new settlers of different categories are presented, the Department of Information Technologies of the city of Moscow said. According to experts, it can be used to find out how and where to register at a new place of residence, what documents need to be issued, where and how to attach to a clinic, enroll in a school or kindergarten, how to transfer meter readings, and the like.
Each scenario offers a set of instructions for a specific situation: moving from another region, moving within the capital, moving a young family with a child, moving to a rented apartment or own housing, and so on.
The Department of Information Technologies of the city of Moscow noted that so far the scenario of moving without children to a rented apartment is the most popular in the superservice, and users consider the information in the “Fill out the required documents” section to be the most useful.
Subsequently, the “Moving in Moscow” superservice will be supplemented with new useful information. For example, recommendations for motorists and passengers of urban transport, measures of social support for citizens or leisure options in the capital.
