The songs of the performers contain propaganda of alcohol, debauchery, corruption, and are replete with profanity, ”wrote one of the residents of the Kursk region and asked to cancel the event.

Representatives of the regional government responded to her comment and said that the decision regarding the Instasamka concert had been made – the performance had been cancelled. “The texts of these groups speculate on the topics of deviant behavior, extremism, radicalism, contain topics that harm the spiritual and moral education of young people and the name of the region, run counter to the cultural policy of the Kursk region,” the government explained the decision.

The poster of the concert and the form of electronic ticket sales disappeared from the website of the Palace of Culture “Sofia”, where the performance was planned. However, the Palace of Culture refused to give “Kommersant” the reason for the cancellation of the concert.

On January 24, Dmitry Voroshilov announced that he had recommended that the head of the Sofia recreation center cancel the Instasamka concert due to the “negative reaction of the residents of the city and the region.” Mr Voroshilov also toldwhich additionally appealed to law enforcement agencies “with a request to conduct an audit of the organization of the above concert.”
