The famous actor and singer Vladimir Selivanov, also known as VAVAN, recently became a participant in the hijacking of a tram in Kaliningrad. The artist was on the set of his new video “Coals”, which took place right on the territory of the DEPO. It is not difficult to guess that the tram itself was the main prop on the site.
At some point, the driver who worked with the artist on the site left the cab to switch the switch and start another tram, and it was at that moment that Vladimir, who was left alone, pressed the “gas” pedal and drove off. After that, the tram suddenly went on the route, as the rails were connected to the city transport system. Frightened employees in charge of transport on the site ran after him in an attempt to stop the musician. They shouted: “Put on the brakes,” but because of the noise of the wind, Selivanov could not hear anything. In general, he almost reached the next stop. Several meters separated him from the people waiting at the bus stop. Then he did stop.
“I didn’t intend to steal anything,” VAVAN told MK, “I wouldn’t go against the law. It became interesting for me to just make a circle on the tram and come back, just in time for our break between filming. I didn’t think it would bring us so many misunderstandings.”
By the way, after the experiment of the artist, the film crew was threatened to remove the props in the form of a tram from the site. Fortunately, thanks to the charm of the main characters and the artist himself, the incident was settled, all parties came to a compromise and the shooting continued on a friendly note.
“We agreed that they would still let me steer, but special knowledge is needed there, so I will take a couple of lessons in advance,” Vladimir added.
