Second All-Russian rally of electricians

Our life cannot be imagined without electricity and people who know how to tame it. An electrician is a dangerous and necessary profession, people of this profession are engaged in the installation, repair, maintenance of electrical equipment and electrical networks. The specific duties of this specialist depend on the place of work. The profession of an electrician is very important for society, since we all depend on electricity. Only electricians can give us electric light that makes our life convenient and comfortable.

On August 18, the Moscow Expocentre hosted the Second All-Russian Gathering of Electricians – a large-scale event with the maximum concentration of the best specialists and manufacturers.

The All-Russian Gathering of Electricians is one of the brightest events in the electrical industry. This is a new meeting format for professionals in the electrical work and equipment market: beginners and craftsmen, manufacturers and repair specialists, builders, designers, architects from different regions of Russia. Electricians provide a wide range of electrical services that improve our comfort and quality of life in general, but few people understand the role of an electrician and the importance of their work to society. In the field of extremely dangerous work with electricity, there is no place for negligence, an electrician, like a sapper, has no right to make a mistake!

An electrician is a specialist who installs, maintains and repairs power supply systems, communication networks, electrical circuits, lighting and control systems for electrical equipment, electrical appliances. If an electrician is connected to the city’s power grids, then he stretches and repairs power lines, installs lamps. An electrician at the enterprise maintains electrical equipment, machine tools and generators, repairs electric motors. An electrician must know the technical characteristics of electrical equipment, must be able to diagnose and repair devices and devices. In addition, he is obliged to act in accordance with safety regulations, since the profession is dangerous, associated with high voltage. This specialist should be able to provide first aid for injuries, and most importantly – for electric shock.

All this sophisticated equipment is presented at a large-scale exposition, where guests and participants could get acquainted with the latest innovations in the assortment. This year, special attention is paid to domestic manufacturers and those companies that remain on the Russian market.

A series of master classes is also interesting: assembling a multimedia cabinet with a twisted pair connection, working with an electrical installation tool, installing a shield for an apartment and track lighting systems. Well, this is for specialists, but for visitors they prepared master classes and presentations on “home” electrics – from the shield to the outlet.

Interestingly, many famous personalities worked as electricians! Elvis Presley began training as an electrician, but noted that he got confused and quit.
Rowan Atkinson, known as Mr. Bean, has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Oxford. Alfred Hitchcock also studied engineering from the age of 15, his first job being an apprentice electrician at Henleys, an electronics company. George Harrison of The Beatles also trained as an electrician. Although he admitted that in this he did not succeed at all. Benjamin Franklin ($100 has everyone seen?) may also have been one of the first electricians in history: an inventor and experimenter who helped the world understand what electricity is and how it works. He was known for his experiments with kites during thunderstorms, which resulted in the use of lightning rods and grounding. Everyone knows that the profession of an electrician is probably the most intellectually demanding. However, for Albert Einstein, this was clearly not difficult enough. One of his first jobs was laying cables and connecting pendant lights for his father and uncle at the first electric-lit Oktoberfest in history. Ours do not lag behind – the famous bard Oleg Mityaev in his youth received the specialty “installation of electrical equipment for industrial enterprises”, and Andrei Rozhkov from the “Ural dumplings” – an electrician of the 3rd category.

The profession of an electrician is in demand everywhere: from construction companies to transport, from kindergarten to factory. Where light is required, an electrician will always be needed. In the 21st century – the century of information technology – electricity plays a special role: PCs, smartphones and other devices are powered by electricity. And until other sources of energy are invented, the electrician will continue to save devices, communication equipment and electrical networks, save the whole world from darkness, cold, hunger.
