The Rostov Regional Court sentenced Vladislav Ponamarev, a citizen of Russia and Ukraine, to 12 years in prison under an article on espionage. According to the agency’s sources, the Ukrainian special services got the man through the game back in mid-2021, and in 2022 they offered to pass information to them. It was alleged that Vladislav Ponamarev was from Makeevka and that he wanted to join Azov (described as terrorist and banned), but they did not take him, since he was from the DPR.
