“Safe Internet”: schoolchildren will be able to improve their digital literacy

Until December 25, all students in grades 1-9 can participate in All-Russian Online Olympiad “Safe Internet”. On the educational platform Uchi.ru, they will test their digital literacy and develop skills for safe behavior on the Internet. The Olympiad is organized by the ANO “National Priorities” with the support of the national project “Digital Economy”, the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia and VK and is held on the educational platform Uchi.ru.

“At the All-Russian Olympiad “Safe Internet”, children can test their level of digital literacy and consolidate the skills acquired during solving tasks. Last year, almost 2 million schoolchildren took part in the Olympiad, and this year even more participants will be able to learn how to moderate content, protect their personal information and resist scammers,” commented Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

The objectives of the Olympiad are devoted to the rules of safe communication and shopping on the Internet, the competent use of gadgets and spam recognition. The tasks simulate situations that may arise on the network. In addition, schoolchildren will become familiar with the principles of artificial intelligence using clear examples, and will also learn how to correctly search and use information on the Internet.

To complete tasks, you need to register on the platform and go to the Olympiad page from your personal account. The Olympiad tasks are adapted for different age groups and can be completed at home.
