Fraudsters deceive Russians by offering money for browsing online stores
VTB experts warned Russians about a new fraudulent scheme – the bank’s press service reported “Lente.ru”that attackers began to promise huge profitability for product reviews in online stores.
Messenger users are sent messages in which they are invited to simply view goods in an online store and receive huge payments for this: from 30 thousand rubles a day to 360 thousand rubles a month. And to confirm participation and clarify the conditions of work, those who received the message are asked to contact the administrator.
Further, according to the processing scheme, in order to start “activities”, a new employee should deposit some, usually a small amount of money into the specified account. But they promise to increase it every minute depending on the number of views. Soon the victim discovers that it is impossible to withdraw the money “earned” in this way.
In order not to become a victim of such a scheme, bank specialists advise Russians not to respond to such offers and not to chase for easy money.
