The patient’s condition quickly deteriorated, and surgeons at the Arzamas Central City Hospital decided to perform an operation – the first of its kind in the region.
A special plastic tube was inserted into the pensioner’s esophagus, with the help of which the organ was smoothly inflated. Now she can drink and eat liquid food normally again. The tube is still in her body, but it will be removed later.
