Russian cosmonauts turned off the radiator circuit of the Nauka module with a leak

Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub, during their spacewalk from the ISS, turned off the faulty circuit of the additional radiator on the Nauka module, from which the fixed leaked October 9. The broadcast was conducted on the YouTube channel “Roscosmos”.
The astronauts examined and photographed the leak site so that experts on Earth could identify its causes. Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub discovered that coolant leaks were still ongoing. NASA previously reported that the leak had been fixed.
On the back of the radiator, the astronauts found holes of different shapes. Mission control center specialists admitted that these could be technological holes.
The astronauts also had to install a small-sized radar on the module to observe the Earth’s surface. However, it was unable to turn around automatically. The astronauts were unable to manually deploy the radiator, after which they were told to return to the ISS.
On the eve of NASA and Roscosmos Deal on taking additional precautions after Russian cosmonauts enter outer space. Before returning to the Poisk module, they had to inspect their spacesuits and the tools they used to inspect the leak site.
