The Chinese spacecraft “Shenzhou-17” launched to the orbital station of the People’s Republic of China

China’s manned spacecraft Shenzhou-17 launched towards the Chinese Tiangong orbital station. The crew included taikonauts Tang Hongbo, Tang Shengjie and Jiang Xinglin. The launch will be broadcast on YouTube channel CGTN.
The ship was launched using a Long March-2F launch vehicle from the launch pad of the Jiuquan Cosmodrome at 11:14 local time (06:14 Moscow time). Crew members will work at the station for six months. This is China’s 12th mission to launch humans into space.
Shenzhou-17 is scheduled to dock with the station six and a half hours after the spacecraft enters orbit. The Taikonauts will return to Earth in April 2024.
Since May, the crew of the Shenzhou-16 ship has been at the Tiangong station. He will leave the station on October 31. After arrival, the Shenzhou-17 crew will undertake installation and repair work on the station, as well as data collection.
