It is predicted that on February 4 at 11:30 minutes and 8 seconds the Russian will surpass the achievement of his compatriot Gennady Padalka. The native’s five space flights lasted a total of 878 days, 11 hours, 29 minutes and 48 seconds.
For Oleg Kononenko, this flight is also the fifth. It is expected that on June 5 he will become the first earthling to spend more than a thousand days in space. By the way, in the first month of summer, the commander of the cosmonaut corps will celebrate his 60th birthday in orbit.
The completion of the year-long expedition is scheduled for September 23, 2024. By this time, Kononenko will have been in space for a total of 1110 days.
