SpaceX’s Crew Dragon, carrying four space tourists, will leave the International Space Station (ISS) for return to Earth no earlier than February 6 due to bad weather in the splashdown area, SpaceX said. The company is postponing the undocking for the second time. It was originally planned to be held on February 3, but was postponed to February 5 due to weather conditions.

“The weather off the coast of Florida remains unfavorable for Dragon and the Ax-3 crew to undock and return safely to Earth. It is now planned that Dragon will undock from the International Space Station no earlier than Tuesday, February 6,” says SpaceX on the X social network page.

Crew Dragon started to the ISS on January 19 as part of the Axiom Mission 3 (Ax-3). The crew consists of four people: former NASA astronaut Michael Lopez-Alegria, Italian Air Force Colonel Walter Villadei, Swede Marcus Wandt and Turkish Air Force pilot Alper Gezeravci. Mr. Gezeravci became the first astronaut in Turkish history. The Ax-3 mission is the third all-commercial crew flight under contract with NASA.
